About the event
Join Heartland Women in Trades and the Women's Bearu for drinks and desert after our Equity Summit. Feel free to come straight from the jobsite to meet and mingle with fellow tradeswomen.
In commemoration of National Apprenticeship Week, the Women's Bureau is exploring the inspiring career journeys of tradeswomen as they progressed from apprentices to leadership roles and beyond. This event will feature insights from tradeswomen at various stages in their careers, including apprentices, journeywomen, foreman, project managers, and contractors. Participants will also learn about the importance and good practices of recruiting more women into pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs.
Don't miss this opportunity to discover the diverse career pathways available for women in the trades and the essential impact of women in apprenticeship in promoting equity and opportunities for all.
