About the event
The Sisters of IBEW 124 are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for women working in construction and other male-dominated industries. By addressing the critical issues of harassment, bullying, discrimination, and violence, they hope to build a stronger, more inclusive workplace for everyone. 4-hour workshop will teach basic rights and laws formed to protect women and minorities, answer questions about reporting and workplace policies. The workshop will finish with worst case scenarios covering personal protection while at work, C.O.B.R.A. self-defense techniques and Active Shooter Response Plan (ARSP).
